273rd Authority Meeting of Chennai Metropolitan Development Authoritypresided by Hon’ble Minister cum Chairman for Chennai MetropolitanDevelopment Authority and Minister for HinduReligious and Charitable Endowments

As per the guidance of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, today(10.5.2023) 273rd CMDA Authority Meeting was presided by Hon’ble Minister cumChairman for Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority and Minister for HinduReligious and Charitable Endowments Thiru.P.K. Sekarbabu at CMDA ConferenceHall, Emgore, Chennai.
In this Authority meeting, decisions were made after awarding, to improve public transport connectivity at the newly constructed Kilambakkam Bus Terminal,construction of a new sub-urban railway station opposite to the bus terminal andskywalk to connect the bus terminal from the railway station, funding to theGreater Chennai Corporation for developing infrastructure facilities of the existing Madhavaram Bus and Truck Terminal, and reclassification applications within the Chennai Metropolitan Area. Important decisions were taken regarding follow-up activities on projects announced for 2023-24 Budget by the Hon’ble Minister for CMDA and HR & CE and administrative activities of the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority.
