Chennai Metrorail Stations Phase II set for St. Thomas Mount

a. The Chennai Metro Rail (CMRL) authority has opted to construct a brand new station at St. Thomas Mount.

b. A connecting tube at the concourse level will physically link both stations, making transfers between the two corridors swift and also straightforward.

c. That is already there St. Thomas Mount station currently serves approximately 5,500 daily passengers.

d. The Adambakkam ,  St. Thomas Mount to become longer, which forms part of corridor 5, is anticipated to become operational after 2027. Locations where the Phase I and Phase II networks will intersect include Nandanam, Vadapalani, St. Thomas Mount, Koyambedu, Alandur, and Kilpauk.
