Government refused few land parcels for making it as real estate plots.

It is being a big deal for the government to deal with the flood in and around the city in the rainy season. Some land owners made/making water bodies as plot is also a reason for the flood , guessing.

So the Government have taken the initiative action to stop such kind of unfair things. In that way Three of the applications were rejected by CMDA, those are seeking for reclassification of water bodies extending for an area of 25 acres.

On December 26 , CMDA given clarification that the particular rejected land parcels are part of Kosasthalaiyar river at Vallur in the Northern Suburbs.

These details are found through the revenue department records and Litho maps and CMDA as well. Some other applications in the same way also rejected in Pallavaram and Ayapakkam.
