The ₹1,424 crore Multi-Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) at Mappedu in Thiruvallur district, Tamil Nadu, is a 184.27-acre project developed by Reliance Industries Limited under the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan. It features direct road and rail connectivity to Chennai, Ennore, and Kattupalli ports, targeting reduced logistics costs and improved cargo handling.

2.Tamil Nadu Polymer Industries Park Limited (TPIPL)-Voyalur and Puzhudhivakkam

The polymer industry in Tiruvallur district is a rapidly growing hub, anchored by the 265-acre Tamil Nadu Polymer Industries Park in Voyalur and Puzhudhivakkam, developed by TIDCO and SIPCOT. It hosts numerous MSME polymer manufacturing, processing, and molding units, focusing on sectors like automotive components, packaging, and specialty plastics.

• Tamil Nadu Polymer Industries Park Limited (TPIPL): Located near Ennore Port, this park is dedicated to polymer-based manufacturing units and related general engineering industries.

              An upcoming, major industrial park in Govindamedu, Tiruvallur, is being developed by Senera Industrial parks private Limited with a 106,979 sq. m built-up area. This project, valued at ₹158.9 crore, began in June 2024 and is expected to be completed by May 2028, targeting various industrial units.

The Tamil Nadu Knowledge City is an 870-acre+ integrated project located in Uthukottai taluk, Tiruvallur district, roughly 40-45 km from Chennai. Situated along thetiruvallur-uthukottai highway, this greenfield metropolis is developed by TIDCO to serve as an academic and research hub.
